So Tragic As Over 25 Pupils, Teachers Killed In Fire Outbreak In School.

On Wednesday, September 18, 2019, a fire incident occurred at a Quaranic school near Monrovia, the Capital of Liberia. The fire outbreak claimed the lives of at least 26 pupils and two teachers according to reports from the presidency.

According to the Liberia Presidential Spokesman, Solo Kilgpe said emergency services had told President George Weah that 28 people had been killed.

Amado Sharif, an official of the Fulani ethnic group, said the fire broke out while the children were asleep.
