KARIFEST MAN OF THE YEAR 2015: DR MIKE OMOTOSHO

Born Michael Olufemi Omotosho over four decades ago and educated in many parts of the world.

Dr. Mike Omotosho; a pharmacy graduate of Ahmadu Bello University is an alumnus of the prestigious Harvard Business School. He is an avid entrepreneur who has risen to debonaire status simply by being altruistic and meddling for social impact.

 

He is the first distinguished toastmaster in Nigeria and served as the Governor of Toastmasters International District 94 for all of West Africa and was recognized as the best District Governor in the entire world for 2012-2013.

 

As Governor of Rotary International District 9125, Big Mike as he is popularly called travelled almost 25000km to commission over 300 projects in 150 days: he also created the 4-way Test game in addition to increasing the public image of Rotary and Nigeria Internationally.

 

Governor Emeritus Mike Omotosho as he prefers to be referred to after his Rotary year currently holds the record as the District Governor who achieved the highest number of newly chattered clubs for 2015-2016 in the entire Rotary world.

 

As Grand Curator of the "MYDREAMNIGERIA" Project and World's thickest book, he plans to set up Africa's largest palm plantation (Naija farms) where he hopes to create 15, 000 DIRECT jobs for youths .

 

He is an incurable optimist and a firm believer in project Nigeria: a proponent of action learning; Mike believes in knowing by doing.

 

Mike has deep knowledge of business strategy and performance competencies of health commodities supply chain management. He is a progressive consultant with broad based experience in the public sector.

 

OMOTOSURE as fondly called in political circles is a man of several parts. He is often described as the merchant of hope and has accrued amongst other recognitions; 32 chieftaincy titles and over 300 awards of recognition!

 

Mike Omotosho is happily married with children.
