Commissioners in Lagos: Agagu’s daughter nominated

The Governor of Lagos State, Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has nominated Solape Hammond, the daughter of the former Governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Agagu as a commissioner in Lagos State.

The daughter of the former of Governor of Ondo State is a business expert having over 19 years’ experience in Risk Management, Management Consulting, Banking and Financial Advisory.

Solape is a graduate of Economics from the University of Ibadan and has also obtained her Masters degree in Business Administration from INSEAD.

She is the Founder and CEO of Ten Talents Limited which is a company which provide business advice. The establishment is concerned with programmee management, risk management, performance management, business planning, process improvement, recruitment, organizational transformation, strategy development and financial advisory services.

Mrs. Solape is also the Co-Founder and the CEO of Impact Hub Lagos, a company established to cater for entrepreneurs providing consultation services, work space for offices and capacity building programs that connect, inspire and enable impact. The company has gained recognition in the world as it is among the fast growing Impact Hub network of over 16,000 members across 102 Hubs in 50 countries in the world.

She started her consultation career at Accenture and leaving as the company’s Manager in the Finance and Performance Management Market Unit. She has also worked for a Merchant Bank in Credit Administration and Risk Management. She was also the CEO of a financial advisory firm based in Lagos with clients across Nigeria, Ghana, Zambia and some African countries.

She is also a member of the International Women’s Society (IWS), the Nigerian Leadership Initiative (NLI) and Hospitals for Humanity (HFH). She served as the Secretary to the Board of Trustees for the Handicapped Education Foundation (HANDEF) . She was also once a Chairperson of KHAN Regenesis. KHAN Regenesis is a not-for-profit organization which specializes in vocational training support, concept development, policy development, programme management, placement services and advocacy.

The former Governor’s daughter is also in Advisory Councils and Board for different not-for-profit organizations among which are Studio Lumiere, Page Financials, Mums in Tech UK LLC, Olorunsogo Power Plc, Gerocare.org and the Nigerian Norwegian of Commerce.
