Ihàrà total.

It was joy as the campaign train of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ika N/East visited Ute-Elugu to woo voters in favour of the party’s total victory in the coming election.

The campaign team, led by its chairman, Dr. Festus Okubor, reeled out the achievements of Governor Okowa which he described as unprecedented and the best in history.

In the event, the chairman of the PDP, Ika N/East, chief Godwin Ogadi (Omola), while commending the unbeatable achievements of Gov. Okowa urged voters to support all PDP candidates from Presidential, Senate to Houses of Assembly and Representative,he expressed displeasure over the bad state of the road linking Ute-Okpu to Ute-Elugu.

Chief Ogadi observed that the people were in pain and wondered how the road was either overlooked or abandoned over the years and made a promise to the people; on quote, “if this road does not get the attention of the governor and remains unconstructed, I will never come to this place for election campaign again”.

The promise greatly aroused joy among voters who also assured the party chairman and his team total support for PDP. They said the governor has shown leadership pedigree and expressed confidence in him and his party.
